Priest Ranch Review

I think this might be my favorite winery to date.

Bold statement, I know. But it’s true! Priest Ranch truly captures what it’s like to go wine tasting and ENJOY yourself!

me, loving this chair & needing to take a picture in it!

The staff doesn’t hover (almost to a fault), but they always re-appear with a smile and a bottle of wine! They are super friendly, and knowledgeable, but don’t make you feel like you need to know what you’re talking about. It’s great!

This is also one of the few places where I truly enjoy all of their wines- Whites included! The wines are exactly what they claim- unique! The Sauvignon Blanc was so fresh and bright and full of citrus- I couldn’t get enough.

They also have a Grenache Blanc- the only winery in the valley that does! It is so good! My entire party couldn’t get enough of it. It was the first one we tasted, and I totally know why. They wanted to start with the best!

We substituted the Cabernet for their Rose, which we’ve had before & knew we wanted it again! It didn’t disappoint. I’m not a huge Rose person, but this is one of the best I’ve had while tasting.

The Petite Sirah completed the tasting, and while it was good- it’s wasn’t anything to write home about.

I ended up grabbing a bottle of the Sauvignon Blanc for my birthday next month (WOO!). I loved it that much! If you’ve ever read any of my reviews, you know I’m ALL about the reds, so it was shocking I went home with a white!

All in all, Priest Ranch is definitely a must see if you are in Yountville!
